Chuck Chambers

Dr. Charles Marion Chambers, Jr. “Chuck,” 48 of Watkinsville, GA, died on April 20, 2021.  Born on February 24, 1973, he was the son of Charles Marion Chambers, Sr. of Dublin, GA, and Dianne Bracewell of Rentz, GA.  Chuck grew up in Dublin, GA, and moved to Watkinsville, GA, after graduating from college in 1999.

He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Guy and Evie Chambers of Dublin, GA; maternal grandparents, Fred J. Attaway, Jr. of Dublin, GA; and Emory and Katherine Rowland, of Wrightsville, GA;  Stepmother Gayla Chambers of Dublin, GA.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Charlie Rose Chambers of Gratis, GA; his father and stepmother, Charles and Patti Chambers of Dublin, GA; his mother and stepfather, Dianne and Danny Bracewell of Rentz, GA; his brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Christine Chambers of Bishop, GA; his sister, Tammy Chambers of Toomsboro, GA; four nieces, Anna Marie Caughern, Dianna Butler, Kiersten and Emma Chambers; a great-nephew, Creek Caughern.

Chuck graduated from Dublin High School in 1991.  He attended Georgia Institute of Technology until 1995, then attended and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1999 later practicing dentistry in Watkinsville for twelve years.

Chuck loved the outdoors, cooking, making furniture, and building guitars and amplifiers.  He also enjoyed playing his guitars, singing, and writing songs.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Lord & Stephens, West, Watkinsville at 2:00, with Pastor Gregg Soles officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
