Christopher Michael "Mookie" Simonton , A loving caring Husband, Father and Son passed away on October 7th, 2017.
Michael was an Honorably Discharged Airforce Veteran. He received Airman of the Quarter 3 times and Airman of the Year twice. He was a Senior Operations Specialist (operations Engineer) for LinQuest Corporation.
He was a man who loved his fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Maria Simonton; sons: Jarek and Lucas; step daughter: Jannik and daughter on the way, Alivia.
He is also survived by his father Gene Simonton, mother Toni Keeling and step father Bill Keeling; sister: Brooke and his brothers Ronnie, Bear and Joshua. He also leaves - aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Lord & Stephens West Chapel on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1pm. A celebration of Life Reception will immediately follow at the home of Bill and Toni Keeling, 1051 Dials Plantation Dr, Statham, Ga. 30666.
