Christopher Ross Sandberg

Christopher Ross Sandberg, 28 of Aiken, SC, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, as a result of complications from juvenile�onset Huntington's Disease. Born on July 14, 1988, at Fort Stewart, Georgia, Chris was the son of Georgianne Sandberg Summer and the late Michael James Sandberg. Chris loved everyone and everything about life, and was a gift to all who met him. He loved to help others and enjoyed volunteering. He volunteered several times to help rebuild following Hurricane Katrina, and enjoyed reaching out and helping others through missions work. Chris was a rare gift to this earth and leaves a legacy of luminous smiles, love, and selfless service behind. Chris is survived by his mother, GeorgianneI� his stepfather, Todd SummerI� his brothers Michael J. Sandberg (Hannah) and Nicholas C. SandbergI� his beloved nephew, Aidan SandbergI� his uncle Preston Beam (Sarah)I� his cousins, Ray and Hazel BeamI� his grandparents Edith Fuller (Lester) and James BeamI� his great�grandmother, Teena BeamI� and a host of other family and friends. We will miss the light that was Christopher Ross Sandberg. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 5:00 pm at Grace Fellowship, Bogart, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Grace Fellowship preceding the service. Lord and Stephens West has charge of arrangements.
