Christopher Samuel Hammond

Christopher Samuel Hammond, 34, of Bogart, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017.
A lifelong resident of the Athens area, he was the son of Samuel Bennett Hammond and Carol Faye Whitehead Hammond. Christopher battled many health issues recently, but for years prior he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a 2002 graduate of Oconee County High School and worked for Houseman Pest Control for over eight years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Hammond and maternal grandparents, Randall and Inez Whitehead.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Hammond and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
