Colbert - Chris Gordon, 23, died Sunday, May 24, 2009.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 11AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens East with Rev. Derek Anglin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A native of Athens, he was the son of the late Gary Riley Gordon and Nancy and Fred Snailum of La Mirada, CA. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Gordon. He had attended New Haven Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his brother: John Corey Gordon of Commerce, Melissa (Roy) Reece of Hull, Mary Beth (Nathan Drake) Gordon of Colbert; son: Tyson Riley Gordon of Colbert; girlfriend: Giesla Bray of Colbert; nieces and nephews: Kelsie Palmer, Lauren Reece, Alexis Reynolds, Bryson Drake; paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Palmero of CA.
Flowers will be accepted.
