Chester Lee Kenimer

Chester Lee Kenimer, 98, of Hull, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016.
Born in Leaf, GA, he was the son of the late Michael Anderson and Clara Skelton Kenimer. Mr. Kenimer served in WWII in Patton's Third Army 94th Infantry Division as a Staff Sargeant. He had a Master's Degree in Military Arts which he earned from Cumberland University. He retired from Lockheed and enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Most importantly, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Kesler Kenimer and one daughter, Sherri K. McCurry.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki K. Veal and Teena K. Sales; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow at New Hope Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Mr. Kenimer's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
