Lexington, Ga- Charlotte T. Hubbard, age 73, passed away Monday, September 18, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Jackson Co. 0n November 10, 1932, to the late Raleigh and Flora Lockman Taylor. She was a retired bus driver for the Oglethorpe County Schools and a devoted member of the Crawford Pentecostal Church. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Evie Keisler, and a brother, Olan Taylor.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie R. Hubbard, four children, Gale (Eddie) Boswell, Amanda (Paul) York, Tommy Langley, and Marie Evans all of Lexington. Two sisters, Willie Mae Compton of Crawford, and Fran Stroup of Stephens. Three grandchildren, Adam (Deidre) Boswell, Kenny (Beth) Boswell, and Jennifer (John) Arnold. Two great-grandchildren, Princess Boswell, and Mason Arnold.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Crawford Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Donald Wineinger and Rev. Jerry Keisling officiating. Burial will follow at the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery in Stephens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20, 2006 from 6 till 9 pm at the church.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Crawford Pentecostal Church Building Fund.
