Charles Freeman White

Charles Freeman White, age 94, passed away May 1, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Charles was a member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church and VFW Post #2872 and a WWII Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan & Hansel Rogers White, five brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Merle Spivey White; son, Darryl White; sister-in-law, Lois White; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 2PM at Arnoldsville Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Hunter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arnoldsville Cemetery Fund, c/o Nathan Meadows, 26 Sunrise Lane, Arnoldsville, GA 30619.
