Charles Howard "Chuck" Tatum

Charles Howard "Chuck" Tatum, 58, died Monday, October 3, 2016. A native of Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late Leonard Howard Tatum and Betty Ann Carter Tatum and father to the late Amanda Kay Tatum. Chuck was a life-long minister, owner/agent of Oglethorpe Insurers and a Building Service Lead at the University of Georgia. He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Whitehall. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jo-Anne A. Tatum; children: Eric Tatum of Crawford, Louie Branco of Carlton, Michelle Watts of Crawford, Matthew Carter of Danielsville and one granddaughter, Bethany Rose Branco. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Revs. Tim Boswell, Curtis Hammond, Brandon Miller and B.G. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made First Apostolic Church of Whitehall. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
