Colbert - Charles Wilson Ruark, 62, died Friday, October 6, 2006 at his residence.
Born in Greene County, he was the son of Elizabeth Wilson Moon and the late Pat B. Ruark. He was a member of Winterville First Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Navy during Viet Nam aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Charles retired from Bell South as a Facility Technician after 31 years.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 38 years, Beverlee Bishop Ruark, sons and their wives; Randy and Gina Ruark of Augusta, David and Renee Ruark of Jefferson, Brad and Melissa Ruark of Hoschton, four sisters; Patsy Bramlett, Carolyn Siver, Deborah Shuman, Susan Copelan, and three grandchildren; Robert Miller, Blake Ruark, Will Ruark.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 3PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Jim Akins and Rev. Bill Hayes. Burial was be held at Woodville Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
