Charles E. Adams, 74, died February 14, 2009.
A native of Athens, GA, he was a son of the late Charley Dillard and Georgia Belle Faulkner Adams and was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Charles Jordan. Mr. Adams retired from both the United States Air Force and the University of Georgia.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Adams; two sons, Daniel Charles Adams and David Todd Adams, both of Athens; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
