Athens, GA - Charlene T. Powell, 72, passed away November 3, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
A native of Chiefland, FL, she was a daughter of the late Lorene Oglesbee and Charles Love Tindale and the widow of William O. Powell.
Memorials services will be December 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Athens-Clarke County Senior Center. Interment will be at a later date in Cedar Key, FL.
Survivors include three daughters and son-in-law, Tammy L. and Walter Barnes of Athens, Valerie D. Powell of Athens, Robin C. Powell of Phenix City, AL; son, Joseph McWaters of Opelika, AL; two sisters; three brothers; four grandchildren, Brittney N. Powell, Janette McWaters, Lydle McWaters and Haley McWaters.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
