Winterville, GA - Cecil Clyne Thomas, 68, died July 31, 2007.
A native of Clarke County, GA, he was a son of the late Una Lavender and Sidney F. Thomas, Sr., and was preceded in death by a son, Mark L. Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a member and deacon of Bogart First Baptist Church, where he also served as treasurer.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 3, 2007, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Rev. Bill Hayes and Chaplain Mark Fite will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Thomas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Ralf Leistikow of Suwanee and Amy and Scott Simmons of Apollo Beach, FL; brother, Sidney F. Thomas, Jr. of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Peter Leistikow, Jessica Leistikow, Hailey Simmons; nephew, Sidney F. Thomas, III; two nieces, Mary Kingsley and Carol Meadows.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Athens High School Class of 1957.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
