Catherine G. Lind

Catherine G. Lind, 62, of Hull Ga., died Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Born July 1, 1953 in St. Cloud Minnesota to Donna Grafft and the late Donald Grafft, Catherine went to school in Minneapolis MN and earned an associate degree in computer programming. She moved to Georgia in 1985 and worked for 15 years in the Interlibrary Loan Department at the University of Georgia. She loved writing, using watercolors, gardening, and birdwatching. In addition to her father, she was proceded in death by her husband, Bruce B. Lind, and brother Donald Grafft Jr. Catherine is survived by children, Erin G. Lind and Eric B. Lind, grandchild Kennan A. Smith, mother Donna Grafft, and siblings Sandy Empting, Gail Larson, Janet Weisman, Gwen Grafft, and Mark Grafft. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 9th at 10:00 A.M. at Lord and Stephens, East Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia in Athens.
