Carolyn Louise Thomas

Carolyn Thomas of Crawford, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 7th, 2022.
She was born Carolyn Louise Davis to Margie and Silas Davis in Portland, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband Alford Thomas, Sr.
Carolyn graduated from the St. Mary's School of Practical Nursing in 1971. She was a dedicated LPN at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens until her retirement. She had long time hobbies of collecting and tending to her beautiful flower gardens.
As dedicated as she was to serving others, she was also dedicated to her family. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, and devoted grandmother. She is survived by her son, Alford Thomas Jr.; daughter, Miriam Pledger; and four grandchildren: Kayla Lecoe, Mason Thomas, Taylor Pledger, and Madyson Pledger.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:30 at the funeral home.
