Carolyn Eugenia (Fleming) Farr

Carolyn Eugenia Fleming Farr, 80, wife of the late James L. Farr, died Monday, April 3, 2012.

Born in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edwin and Eva Mae Culbertson Fleming. She retired from the Social Security Administration as well as the University of Georgia. She was a member of East Athens Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children: Jefferey Allen of Smyrna, Tammy Farr Crowe of Athens; sister: Geneva Ivie of Forrest Heights; grandchildren: Joseph Wilson Berryman Jr., Miranda Lee Farr and five great grandchildren: Eziekel, Braxton, Kayleigh, and Easton Berryman and Damion Jasper Farr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to East Athens Baptist Church.
