Caroline Jones, 105, of Bogart, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
Born in Export, PA, she was a daughter of the late Mike and Kathryn Matovich. Mrs. Jones was the eldest of 11 children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Antonio Fernandes and her second husband, Warren Jones, one son, Eugene Fernandes and one grandchild, Jennifer Fernandes.
Survivors include her children, Antonio Fernandes Jr. (Kay), Rudy Fernandes (Bea), Violet Harter (Melvin) and Joseph Fernandes (Irma); local grandchildren, Melissa Bowden (John) and Melinda Youngblood (Todd) and local great grandchildren, Rachel Bowden and Sarah Bowden - two sisters Ruth Matovich and Mildred Lefler. Also, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren in New Jersey and Florida and nieces and nephews in Kentucky and West Virginia.
No services are scheduled at this time. A Celebreation of Life will be held at a later time where she will be laid to rest in the Matovich Family Cemetary.
The family would like to thank the staff and family of Magnolia Estates for the loving care they provided for Caroline.
