Carol Spratlin

Carol M. Spratlin, 76, passed away May 14, 2020.

Carol's most meaningful employment was being a personal in-home caregiver with end-of-life patients. A native of Greenville, PA. she was a daughter of the late Randall A. and Ethel Nelson Marstellar. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Gary" Spratlin, and a son, Edwin L. Cromer.

Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Cromer (Jimmy) of Winterville; step-son, Jeff Spratlin of Royston; granddaughter, Crystal Burke of Winterville; grandson, Derek Cromer of Wilmington, NC; grandson, Noah Hart of Royston; granddaughter, Mia Driver of Newnan; and granddaughter, Anna Spratlin of Royston. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Janet (Donald) Pursley of Watkinsville and Barbara (Tommy) Smith of Athens.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s memory to the dementia research group of your choice.
