Carol Anne Hatcher

Carol Anne Huck Hatcher of Watkinsville, GA, passed away on January 22, 2025, she was born on December 1, 1945. We will celebrate the life of our loving and dedicated wife and mother at 2 p.m. til 4 p.m. on February 1st at Oconee Chapel, located at 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA. 30677 Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard P. Hatcher, as well as her two children, Richard, D. Hatcher, and John Hatcher. She has five grandchildren, Elloree, Macy, Kaylee, Hudson, and Johnathan. She was born December 1st, 1945 in Marietta, OH, the youngest of 7 children and is survived by her two sisters, Madeline and Marguerite, and her niece, Janet Bond. She was a proud graduate of the University of Kansas, BS Ed, as well as the Medical College of Georgia, BSN RN. She had a servant’s heart, was a follower of Christ, and lived to help others who needed it the most. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She will be missed immeasurably by her family, and all those she touched. In the early 1980’s, She played a key role in the formative days of Eagle Ranch located in Flowery Branch, GA. She remained a passionate supporter of that organization throughout the rest of her life. Her wish was that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to eagleranch.org.
