Carton B. Couch, 76 of Danielsville passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 due to an extended illness of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
A native of Athens, he was the son of the late Harry Bartow Couch, Sr. and Myrtis Elizabeth Doster Couch. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Dean Couch, Harry Bartow Couch, Jr. and Dora Kittle and step mother, Dorothy Mooney Couch. Carl retied from Westinghouse and ABB after 39 years of service. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.
Carl is survived by his wife of 39 years, Wretha Gilreath Couch, daughter, Pat (Randy) Archer, son, Curtis (Viv) Couch, step daughters, Lynn Jones, Kelly (Tony) Royston, Kristie (David) Bragg, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, brother, Billy Couch of Dewey Rose, sisters, Sybil Rice of Watkinsville, and Dot Smith of Ila.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 2pm at Princeton Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony L. Royston officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
