Athens, GA - Carla Sue Willis, 64, passed away February 9, 2009.
A native of Macon County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Leslie Jones and Mildred Stewart Jones Carver. Mrs. Willis lived in this area since 1983 and was a member of New Covenant Worship Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Rev. Howard Conine officiating.
Survivors include her husband, John V. Willis; three children, Britt Willis of Niceville, FL, David Willis of Statham and April Doke of Colbert; three brothers, Donald Jones of Lafayette, TN, Danny Jones of Lawton, OK and Billy Jones of Summerville, GA; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
