Carl Harold Gunnells, 66, died May 3, 2015.
A native of Athens, GA, he was a son of the late C. H. and Sylvia Cochran Gunnells and was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Tiller. Mr. Gunnells was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Oliver Rubber Company/Cooper Tire.
Graveside services will be Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Nancy Gunnells; four children, Tony (Kim) Gunnells of Cordele, GA, Tabitha (Eddie) Gregg, Travis Gunnells and Trenton Gunnells, all of Winterville; brother, Tommy Gunnells of Winder; five grandchildren, Wesley Gunnells, Natalie Gunnells, Halee Creely, Zack Gregg and Zoey Gregg; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Nancy Cochran, Lois Gunnells and George Hunt.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
