Calvin Donald Coleman Sr

Calvin Donald Coleman, Sr., died September 13, 2011.
A native of Atlanta, he was the son of the late Bernard Hugh Coleman, Sr. and Irene Pearl Waldrip Coleman. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Irene Scott Cota and brother, Bernard Hugh Coleman, Jr.
Mr. Coleman was the owner of Don's Silkscreen for 40 years and a retired Federal Aviation Electronic Engineer. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and served his country in the US Air Force. Don was one of the founding board members of Athens Youth Organization where he was a football coach. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He worked at ACTION, Inc. and also Headstart as a designer and builder of Headstart centers. Mr. Coleman was a Nascar Track Photographer for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Annette Coleman, son, Calvin Don Coleman, Jr., granddaughter, Heather Coleman, great granddaughter, Jacqueline Coleman.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Services will be private.
