Hull - Buren W. Hutchins, 73, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007.
A native of Barrow County, he was the son of the late Thomas R. and Alma White Hutchins and brother of the late Henry Hutchins. Mr. Hutchins was Mayor of Hull for 15 years, a member of the Madison County Rotary Club, Pilot Club, Co-Pilot, Madison County Commissioner, and a member and Chairman of the PPR at Princeton United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Princeton United Methodist Church with Revs. Russell Repetske, Randy Crowe, Morris Sapp and Billy Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Hutchins; children, Anne Austin, of Winder, Karen Wehent, of Dacula, Mike Hutchins, of Bogart, Cindy Griffith, of Westminister, S.C., and Jeff Hutchins, of Madison; 14 grandchildren, Kim Pittman, Jason Austin, Kirk Barker, Anah and Kurby Hutchins, Candice, J.D., Chris, Matthew, Nikki and Alex Griffith, Brandon, Summer and Shelbi Hutchins; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 thru 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 thru 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of B.W. Hutchins to Princeton United Methodist Church.
