Athens - Cecil Carl Perry, 78, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Clarke County, he was the son of the late Walter Ernest and Addie Ann Strickland Perry. He retired from Dairy Pak and attended Jefferson Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Perry, sons: Terry Carl (Marilyn) Perry of Crawford, Kenneth Scott Perry of Crawford; daughter: Brenda Kay Waters of Arnoldsville; brothers: Bruce Perry, Everett Perry, Edward Perry; sisters: Geneva Elder, Marion Sanders, Barbara Hammond, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 2PM at New Life Apostolic Church with Rev. B. G. Miller, Rev. Gary Hosch and Bishop Douglas Hammond officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Hammond, Wayne Perry, Corey Perry, Keith Perry, Wendell Perry and Caleb Elder. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Athens Memory Gardens.
