Danielsville - Bud Escoe, 86, of Macedonia Church Road, Danielsville, passed away October 19, 2006.
He was a son of the late W. W. and Nora Culberson Escoe. Mr. Escoe was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Freeman Escoe; a daughter; Sarah Joyce Escoe; son, George R. Escoe; and brothers, Tom and Ed Escoe.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II and retired from Champion Paper. Mr. Escoe was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Danielsville.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra (Mark) Waldrop of Ila and Peggy (Tommy) Lord of Danielsville; daughter-in-law, Donna Escoe of Commerce; seven grandchildren, Keith (Lauren) Lord, Tyson (April) Lord, Brent (Summer) Escoe, Kasie (David) Brown, Travis Pirtle, Marisa Waldrop and Nick Waldrop; one great grandchild, Thomas Lord.
The family received friends Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be today, October 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Cobb Healthcare Nursing Home Patient Vehicle Fund, PO Box 566, Comer, GA 30629.
The family members will be at their respective residences.
