Brent Nelson Haley

Brent Nelson Haley, age 26 of Lexington passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. Mr. Haley was born on February 09, 1985 in Athens, GA to Ricky and Libby Haley. He was a graduate of Oglethorpe County High School and was active in soccer with the Oglethorpe County Recreation Department.
Mr. Haley is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Mary "Meemaw" Harrison of Lexington and James and Corene Haley of Crawford. He is survived by his parents, Ricky and Libby Haley; brother J.C. Haley; aunts and uncles, Frank and Gail Haley, Danielsville, Jimmy Haley, Bowman, Joe and Peggy Walsh, Bowman, Patsy Jones, Danielsville, George and Joyce Wilhite, Loganville, Paul and Connie Harrison, Charleston S.C., Joan and Rick Borges, Braidenton, FL, Tim and Rebecca Harrison, Bristol VA, and Larry and Pricilla Harrison, Athens, as well and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim Harrison officiating.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Chris and Madison Parsons to their enduring friendship to our loved one.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Oglethorpe County Recreation Soccer Department, P.O. Box 261 Lexington, GA 30648
