Brenda Kay Romine, 73, of Athens, Georgia went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2022. She was born on March 22, 1949, in Newton, Iowa to the late James Leslie “Bill” Romine and Elizabeth Louise Romine (Nee Blankenship). Brenda received an associate of Arts Degree from Waycross College and a BA degree in Political Science from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia in 2009. She worked as a legal assistant until she retired. She was a Biblical writer and long-time member of the “Shot in the Dark” fiction writers’ group. She is survived by three sons, James Abram Romine, Jesse Luke Romine and David Aaron Romine; two sisters, Patricia Gail “Patty” Leong and Dorothy “Mickey” Crawford; a niece, Elizabeth Crawford-Tacy; two nephews, Christopher Crawford and Jason Leong and many friends at Talmage Terrace/Lanier Gardens in Athens, Georgia.
