Brenda Mathews Oldham

Brenda Geneva Oldham, 74, of Lexington, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015. A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late George Raleigh Mathews and Frances Holmes Mathews and sister to the late Frances Moina Johnson. She was a member of Lighthouse Methodist Church and had worked as a nursing assistant for Dr. Bill Tumlin. Survivors include her sister: Martha Rayburn of Athens; brothers: Buddy (Sandra) Mathews of Lexington, Jere (Sandra) Mathews of Lexington and a number of nieces and nephews A memorial service will be held 2PM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Lighthouse Methodist Church, Lexington , GA with Rev. Donny Morgan officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lighthouse Methodist Church, 32 Browns Chapel Road, Lexington, GA 30648. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
