Brenda Colley

Brenda Colley “MawMaw”, 70, of Bishop, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Born on April 25, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Early Arthur Clay and Luna Mae Carter Clay.

She loved front porch sitting, the GA Bulldogs, working in her garden, playing games, talking on the phone with friends and was a MawMaw to everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Colley; brothers, Billy Clay and Bobby Clay; brother-in-law, Jimmy Baker.

Survivors include her daughter, Dana Wright; granddaughters, Tiffany Robertson (Tyler), Amber Wright, Kassi Wright, Mandy McBride; great granddaughter, who was the light of her life, Maebree Robertson; sisters, Shirley Baker, Beverly King (Ray); many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Molly.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road Watkinsville, GA. The family will receive friends the evening prior from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Huff Cemetery.
