Brandon DeWitt Carter, 36, died November 20, 2016.
A native of Conyers, GA, he was a son of Ken and Judy Carter of Conyers.
A dedicated family man who especially loved his wife and children, Brandon loved God and enjoyed fellowship with his many friends. He loved Nascar, hunting and camping, the Georgia Bulldogs and experiencing life to the fullest.
Brandon was a former Deputy Sheriff of Rockdale County. Following his service to Rockdale County, he took part in operating the family business, Quality Courier in Conyers.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Rev. Mark Walker officiating. Entombment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 12:00 until 2:00 PM.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Tammi; two children, Chase Carter and Bayli Carter; brother and sister-in-law, Kennon (Crystal) Carter of Covington; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steven (Sara) Momberg of Covington; four nieces, Michaela, Natalie and Mallory Carter, Emily Momberg; nephew, Kayden Momberg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steven (Kathi) Momberg of Covington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Trust fund for Brandon's children. More information will be posted when available.
