Bonita Elaine Churchman

Bonita Elaine Churchman, age 40, died September 17, 2011 peacefully at her residence. A native of Athens, Ga., Ms. Churchman was a 1989 graduate of Madison County High School. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1993 from Athens Technical College. Ms. Churchman was employed with Athens Regional Medical Center as a nurse in the Neuro ICU unit for 15 years and was of the baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at Riverside Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 2:00p.m. with the Rev's Joe Wood and Dennis Nix officiating.
Survivors include father and mother: Frank L. and Bette Ottersbach Churchman, daughter: Heather Ashlee Lord, three brothers: Mark Andrew, David Lee, and Paul Alan Churchman, 10 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6-8p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, 65 Sorrow Patterson Road, Colbert, GA 30628
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville has charge of arrangements.
