Bobby Towe

Bobby Towe, 69, died November 23, 2015.

A native of Oconee County, he was a son of the late Bertie Lou Whitfield and James Gordon Towe. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard D. Towe, Harvey Towe, Bennie E. Towe and James A. Towe and a sister, Bertie Ramona Towe. Mr. Towe worked at Whitehall Mills, Kendall and then Stanfield Air Systems, where he retired after forty-one years.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his daughter, Terri (Matthew) Patman; brother, Harrison Towe of Comer; three grandchildren, Michael (Bridget) Patman, Kayla (Craig) Vaughn and Mason (Morgan) Patman; three great grandchildren, Luke Vaughn, Raylan Patman and J. D. Patman; special friend, Irene Welch.

Pallbearers will be Dale Towe, Daniel Oldham, Mitch Allen, Randy Michael, Josh Callaway and Levi Oldham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Alford, Michael Patman, Raylan Patman, Mason Patman, Luke Vaughn and Josh Michael.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
