Bogart, GA - Bobby W. Roberts, 77, passed away March 14, 2008.
Born May 18, 1930, he was a son of the late Ruth and George Roberts of Knoxville, TN. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in the Korean War. Mr. Roberts was a retired mechanical engineer from Thrall Car of Winder and was a resident of Oconee County for thirty years.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Nancy Roberts; four children, Bobby (Laura) Roberts, Jr., George Roberts, Si Roberts, and Mary (Charles) Keith; nine grandchildren; sister, Anna Ruth (Charles) Lane of Virginia.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors, is in charge of arrangements.
