Bobby "Papa" Kennedy

April 30, 1949 - March 27, 2024

Bobby Jack Kennedy, age 74, of Auburn Ga. passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Brenda Wilbanks Kennedy, his daughter, Pamela Kennedy Mathis of Commerce, his son Dale Kennedy (Rhonda) of Bethlehem, his six grandchildren, Breanna Mathis (Chris), Justin Mathis ( Melissa), Danielle Primavera, Clint Miller (Vera), Eli Ridgeway (Ashley), Jackson Ridgeway, and sixteen great grandkids, Cierra, Joshua, Bailey, Ashton, Lylah, Kohen, Addie, Emory, Chloe, Pheobe, Hudson, Harli, Easton, Colton, Braydon, and Haven. Sisters Frances Thomas, Joyce House, Shirley Kennedy, and Patrica Reynolds all of Winder, brother Stanley Kennedy of Winder.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Hart Kennedy; son in law Tim Mathis; grandson Josh Mathis, brothers Randolph, John, Bill, Gene and Danny Kennedy.

He retired from Mansfield oil. He loved watching John Wayne movies and was a huge Nascar fan. Bobby loved spending time with his family, they were his world.
