Bobby Holloman

Bobby Holloman, 87, died Thursday, November, 30th 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Syble Murray Holloman. Born in the Glade Community, he was the son of the late Harry Edward Holloman and Ruby Gunter Holloman. Bobby served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1956. He retired from Farmers Hardware and was a member of Living Water Baptist Church, Arnoldsville, GA.

Bobby was a man with no middle name but a life full of love. He loved his family and cherished time with them in the woods, beside the water, and on the sidelines of sporting events of all manner. His legacy of faith and humble service to the Lord is what will live on most vividly in the hearts and minds of those he precedes to Glory.

Survivors include two children: Paula Holloman Resop (Tony) and Keith Holloman (Jo); grandchildren: Michael Alexander Resop (Caroline), Zackary Reynolds Resop (Shannon), Abigail LeeAnn Resop, Jacob Keith Holloman (Elizabeth) and Morgan Jane Holloman; great grandchildren: Michael Landon Resop, Maxwell Ewan Resop, Eleanor Ruth Resop, Jackson Alton Holloman, Elise Jean Holloman and Ryker James Resop. Sisters Martha Fortson, Harriette Holloman. Brother John Cecial Holloman. Sister-in -love Linda Kay Holloman, Jan Holloman. Many Nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are: Alex Resop, Jacob Holloman, Zack Resop, Jim Holloman, Tony Kidd, and Alan Simmons

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 2:30PM at Living Water Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30prior to the service at the church.
