Comer - Bobby Ray Clements, 64, passed away March 21, 2008.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, he was a son of the late James Edward and Geraldine Hix Clements. He was a farmer all of his life and also was a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Clements was enlisted in the Army Reserves for over thirteen years.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 24, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Meadow Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sarna and Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Carlene Clements; three children, Carla and Marc Patterson, Cory and Tracy Clements, and Christa and Lewis Burdette, all of Comer; four grandchildren, Jamie Patterson, J.R. Clements, Emma Clements, and Chase Burdette; sister, Betty Martin; brother, Donnie Clements, both of Elberton.
Pallbearers will be Chris Kidd, Ricky Hix, Mark Booth, Randolph Coker, Charles Kidd, Calvin Smith.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
