Watkinsville - Bobby Lee Christian, 65, died October 14, 2006.
A native of Clarke County, he was employed with Ameripride and was past master of the Watkinsville Masonic Lodge. Mr. Christian was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Ann Simmons, Hazel Carson and Louise Vaughn and a brother, Bill Wells.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at 11:00 AM at Oconee Memorial Park with Rev. Harry Sims officiating.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Jan Christian of Watkinsville; three children, Leigh Chapman of Bishop, Lynn Pursley of Statham, and Clay Christian of Jefferson; sisters, Gayland Davidson of Tulsa, OK, Susan Johnson of Lyons, GA, Vicky Taylor of Lithonia, GA, Carol Faulk of Guyton, GA, Doris Ann Daniels of Alabama and Ruby Jewell of Douglasville, GA; brothers, John Anthony of Atlanta, Randy Anthony of Douglasville and Hughey Anthony of Alabama; seven grandchildren.
Lifelong friends will serve as pallbearers. They are: Bobby Skelton, Ken Skelton, Donald Doster, Henry Fields, Ed Coile, and Ronnie Johnson.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home, and may be reached at 3292 Colham Ferry Road, Watkinsville, GA.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors, is in charge of arrangements.
