Watkinsville, GA - Barbara "Bobbie" Diane Hansford, 54, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005.
Born in Collenton County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Carl Sidney and Mary Elise Stanfield Beach. She made her home in Oconee County for the past 45 years. Mrs. Hansford was employed with Oconee State Bank for 24 years, where she served as Vice President.Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Lord & Stephens Chapel WEST with Rev. Jim Hinzman officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Hansford; children, Faith Hansford of Athens, Stevie Hansford of Comer, Hope Hansford of Athens; mother-in-law, Rosella Hansford of Watkinsville; brother-in-law, Sammy (Gwen) Hansford: sister-in-law, Jo (Don) Barnes; two sisters, Gloria Sosbee of Charlotte NC, Lynn Shelton of Watkinsville; three brothers, Dwight Copeland of Walterboro SC, Lucky Beach of Virginia, Allen Beach of Bogart; six grandchildren, Tucker Wickwire, Charish Buffa, Kaytlin Buffa, Gus Smith, Triston Hansford and Dustin Hansford and a number of nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 thru 8:00 p.m. Lord & Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
