Blanche Sims Warren, 86, passed away July 21, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Claude and Eunice Whitehead Sims and was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Grady Sims and W.C. Sims. Mrs. Warren was the widow of William Warren. She was a lifelong member of Mars Hill Baptist Church and recently attended Cleveland Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Rowan (Dale) of Statham and Glenda Brown (Jack) of Bogart; sisters, Vera Lee Warren of Bogart, Lorene Davis of Statham and Martha Faye Guntharp of Bogart; grandchildren, Shawn Nation (Amy), Jason Brown and Kelly Maffeo (Robert); 4 great grandchildren, Spencer Nation, Amelia Brown, Jackson Brown and Wyatt Brown; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Rev. D.R. Randall officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Terry Ferguson, Craig Guntharp, Randall Holland, Jeff Guntharp, Bobby Sims and Jimmy McGalliard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:30 until 9:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
