Billy Mason

William "Billy" Mason, 62, died January 27, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Billy was a beloved husband, father and Dee - to his grandchildren. He retired from GoldKist Poultry after thirty years. He loved to fish and restore old cars. He was a son of the late Wallace and Geraldine Mason and was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Mason and sister-in-law, Susie Mason.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with Rev. Jim Stuchell officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Mason; son, Wallace (Renee) Mason; daughter, Selina (David) Wall; stepdaughter, Samantha Dalrymple; stepson, Joey Dalrymple; grandchildren, Eric Mason, Brooke Adams, Amanda Mason and Mason Wall; step-grandchildren, Skilar Marie Jordnaw and Karissa Renee Dalrymple. He is also survived by three nieces, Heather Jenkins, Melissa Self and Tosha Ervin.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses at Athens Regional Medical Center CV ICU for all of their wonderful care.
Pallbearers will be Donny Seagraves, Stacy Defoor, Chad Knight, Kevin King, Jr., David Stancil and Donald Dalrymple.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Knight and Kevin King, Sr.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home. They may be reached at the home of David and Selina Wall, 1688 Lucky Jones Road, Hull, GA 30646.
