Bogart - Billy D. "Chip" Huff Jr., 53, died June 4, 2009.
Born in Clarke County, he was the son of Rita Oldham Huff of Statham and the late Bill Huff Sr. Chip was a graduate of Oconee County High School and was a third generation owner of Huff Roofing and Contractors.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his children, Justin (Victoria) Huff, Carlton B. Huff and Alyson Huff, all of Athens; sisters, Vicki (Paul) Baker of Bogart and Kay Huff of Nicholson; brother, Tim (Gail) Huff of Monroe; stepmother, Anita Huff of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST. Interment will be in Bogart Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
