Billie Sue (Waters) King

Billie Sue King, 85, wife of the late Roy E. King, died Friday, January 21, 2022. Born in Barton, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late George Charles Waters and Ella Mae Kinman Waters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her daughters Ronald E. Cowley. Mrs. King was a retired schoolteacher and member of Briarwood Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters: Georgeann C. (Mark) Dunahoo and Cynthia C. (Tim) Garrett; grandchildren: Robby M. Dunahoo, Anna Kate (Clay) Carroll, Kayla M. (Isaiah) Turner, Hunter E. (Megan Kirk) Garrett and one great grandchild: Brye R. Dunahoo.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Dr. Rick Standard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:30 at Hillside Memorial Gardens, Gainesville, GA.
