Billie Ann Hines

Billie “B” Ann Hines, 86, of Winterville, died December 18, 2021.

Born in Sanford, FL, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Fannie Lou Beard Harper and was preceded in death by her daughter, Melody Ann Hynes. She was a longtime resident of this area and was a certified ceramics teacher and taught at the family business, Frog Hollow.  Billie had a green thumb and was a gifted gardener.  Most of all, Billie was proud to be a great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Forrest B. Hines; son, Toby Hines of Winterville; grandchildren, Brandy Kelley Brown (Jeremy) of Hull and George Mitchell Kelley (Kristen) of Monroe; great grandchildren, Kaleb and Kolt Brown and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST.  Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
