Crawford - Billie Dove Bruce, 69, died October 27, 2007.
Born in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Estoria Stapleton Braswell and the widow of Tommy Lee Bruce. She was a beautician for a number of years and worked for Goshen Cushion. Mrs. Bruce was a member of Lexington Church of God.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST, with Pastor Frank Walker officiating. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Ann Bruce Parker and Kevin Lewis Bruce, both of Crawford and Ricky Lee Bruce of Carlton; brothers, Kirk Braswell of Old Town, Fla., and Arlis Braswell of Gainesville, Ga.; grandchildren, Miranda Leigh Farr, Natalie Lynn Bruce, Derek Randy Haynes, Jennifer Rose Bruce, Jonathan Lee Bruce, Chelsea Lynn Bruce, Brittany Nicole Bruce, Jonathan Kevin Bruce and Benjamin Kevin Bruce.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
