Bill Louis Allen

Bill Louis Allen, 91, died peacefully in his home in Athens, GA on February 4, 2015.
Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during World War II. He was an executive with Montgomery Ward in New York City and retired to Athens with his wife, Doris in 1986, where he was a substitute teacher for twenty-one years.
Graveside services will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Athens Memory Gardens.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Doris in 2012. Survivors include four daughters, Rebecca Perkins, Suzanne Yoculan Leebern, Jr., Denise Mullins and Gretchen Kelly; five grandchildren, Adam and Alexis Yoculan, Kyle Kelly, Jaime and Abby Mullins; two great grandchildren, Alex and Adalee Yoculan; brother, Ben Allen of Kerrville, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Compassionate Care of Athens, 2340 Prince Ave. Suite A, Athens, GA 30606.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
