Watkinsville - Beverly Kathryn Thomas, 61, wife of Jack Thomas, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital.
Born in Bowman, GA, she was the daughter the late Gene and Kathryn Mize Mewborn. She was a member of Union Christian Church and an office clerk for 20 years with Southeastern Testing Laboratories.
Survivors in addition to her husband include; son: Timothy Daniel Kirkham of Bogart; step daughter: Joy Thomas of Lexington; step son: Mitch Thomas of Tupelo, MS; brother: Martin Mewborn of Greenwood, SC; grandchildren: Lexie Kirkham, Chaz Kirkham, Katie Gordon, Brittany Gordon; one great granddaughter: Kylie Hill.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 1PM at Union Christian Church with Rev. Troy Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight from 5 to 8 at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors.
Flowers are optional or the family request that memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
