Beverly Ford Slagle

Beverly F. Slagle, 68, of Athens passed away February 4, 2022. Born on June 29, 1953, she was the daughter of Betty Haralson Ford and the late Murray Ford.

Bev was a graduate of Bob Jones University and later went on to retire from Liberty Life after more than 30 years of employment.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Slagle.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Haralson Ford, twin sister, Brenda Terry, sister, Donna McPherson and brother, Tom Ford.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Vineyard Creek Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in remembrance of Bev may be made towards the Building Fund to Crooked Creek Baptist Church  6202 Jefferson River Rd, Athens, GA 30607.
