Elberton, GA - Betty Jean Thomas, 75, passed away November 4, 2007.
A native of Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Sue Nix Webb Mills and James Webb, and was the widow of Leroy Thomas. She was the co-owner of Thomas Inventory Service and Granny's Kitchen.
Graveside services will be Friday, November 9, 2007, at 1:00 PM at Winterville Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Lee and Kathy Thomas of Stuttgart, Germany and James Kirk and Joanna Thomas of Carlton; three grandchildren, Heather Thomas of Demorest, GA, Hannah Thomas and John Michael Thomas, both of Stuttgart, Germany.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Odyssey Healthcare, 575 Research Drive Suite A, Athens, GA 30605.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
