Betty Ann McDaniel, 64, passed away June 9, 2008.
A native of Clarke County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Emory and Winona Duncan Jones and the widow of James W. McDaniel, Jr. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Jones and Ethel Bridges and two brothers, Billy Jones and Grady Jones.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Rev. Wiley Carney officiating. Interment will be in Arnoldsville Cemetery.
Survivors include her companion, Charles Lester of Nicholson; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Catherine McDaniel of Crawford; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Darrell McElreath of Danielsville; nine siblings, Vivian Bradberry of Athens, Frances and Eugene Burkhalter of Winterville, Robert Jones of Danielsville, Charles and Mildred Jones, and Clifford and Effie Jones, all of Winterville, Paul and Vi Jones of Watkinsville, Lynda and Walter Smith and Carol Porterfield, both of Winterville, and Dot Lovett of Jefferson; sister-in-law, Melba Jones of Nicholson; three grandchildren, Jamie, Jason and Jessica.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Jeff Jones, Steve Jones, Chris Jones, Matt Jordan, Shawn Loden and Steve Carter.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
